Antonio Catena has extensive experience in Human Resources, having dedicated over 20 years of his professional career to the search for executives and highly qualified professionals in both national projects in Spain and Mexico, as well as international ones.
Before joining Ackermann, a firm of which he is a founding partner, he worked at companies such as Telefónica, Suárez y Aberasturi, and Accetis International, among others.
In 2008, he took on the role of Managing Director of Ackermann Mexico, where he held a threefold responsibility: representing the brand in the country, managing the office and local team, and developing business. Thanks to his management and innovative approach, the company has positioned itself as one of the leading firms in executive search and HR consulting in the country.
Antonio currently serves as the General Director of Latin America within the Ackermann Group.
He has successfully led executive talent search projects for numerous companies and sectors, although he is currently recognized as one of the leading headhunters in the IT, telecommunications, energy, and construction markets. Additionally, he is a well-known expert in negotiation, outplacement, business planning, entrepreneurship, and commercial development.
A graduate in Psychology from Complutense University of Madrid (Spain), Catena balances his role at the head of the Mexico office with the Regional Management of Latin America within the Group.
